By A Correspondent| Cricket’s most exhilarating format is returning to Harare as the second season of the Zim Afro T10 kicks off on September 21, culminating in a grand finale on September 29. Six franchises have assembled formidable squads during the Player Draft, with a mix of seasoned stars and promising young talent.
Founder and Chairman of T Ten Global Sports, Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season: “There is a lot of excitement ahead of Season 2 of Zim Afro T10 as the most entertaining players are set to rewrite the record books in Harare. The squads are very competitive, strong, and balanced with a good mix of youth. I hope the players have a fantastic tournament, and may the best team win!”
Cricket fans can look forward to watching renowned players like David Warner, Sikander Raza, Colin Munro, Dawid Malan, Carlos Brathwaite, and Chris Lynn light up the Harare Sports Club. Additionally, attention will be on Zimbabwean cricketers who have been in excellent form recently.
Over 400 players registered for the Player Draft, with 64 players being selected across 12 rounds. The Bulawayo Braves Jaguars, one of the participating teams, drafted 12 players to complete their 16-man squad.

Cape Town Samp Army: Featuring stars like Dawid Malan (England), Gulbadin Naib (Afghanistan), David Willey (England), and local talents Tadiwanashe Marumani and Brian Chari.
Durban Wolves: Led by global superstar Colin Munro (New Zealand), the squad also includes Mark Chapman (New Zealand), Gary Ballance (Zimbabwe), and several talented local players.
Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers: Chris Lynn (Australia) and Sikander Raza (Zimbabwe) headline this squad, complemented by other key players like Kusal Perera (Sri Lanka) and Tendai Chatara (Zimbabwe).
NYS Lagos: Anchored by Blessing Muzarabani (Zimbabwe) and Thisara Perera (Sri Lanka), the team brings together a diverse lineup including Avishka Fernando (Sri Lanka) and Ryan Burl (Zimbabwe).
Bulawayo Braves Jaguars: Featuring David Warner (Australia) and Carlos Brathwaite (West Indies), this squad boasts an impressive blend of international stars and Zimbabwean talent like Wellington Masakadza.
Harare Bolts: Led by James Neesham (New Zealand), the squad also includes Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka), Sean Williams (Zimbabwe), and several other prominent players.
