Mini Dubai Takes Shape As WestProp Hands Over Block 3 Apartments

By A Correspondent| WestProp Holdings today successfully handed over the 112 block 3 apartment units at Millennium Heights to owners with CEO Mr Ken Sharpe promising the new residents a “mini-Dubai” at Millennium Park.

The apartment units that adorn the Millennium Park one of the company’s biggest mixed use lifestyle estates are part of the 1000 units being constructed over a 10-year period.

The fast-shaping estate combines the live, work, shop and play theme that has become WestProp’s rallying mantra – setting the developer apart from other gated communities in Harare.

The Millennium Heights apartments are part of the bigger development that encompasses Pokugara, the upcoming Mall of Zimbabwe, The Hives and the soon to be built office park.

Today’s proceedings were more of a meet the customer event allowing feedback from the customers/investors and according WestProp a platform to share its upcoming projects with the people.

Residents of the apartment units can now put final touches that include furnishing and other décor fittings while waiting to officially occupy the apartments sometime next month.

The four-storey affordable luxury lifestyle block marks a new age in the design and architecture of the Millennium Heights apartments. Residential properties by WestProp come with back up metered reticulated gas, water, and solar power which the occupants pay for. Additional connections include fibre and satellite TV portals.

With the completion of block 3 – focus now shifts to ED Block which will have six cascading floors and 86 apartment units with studio to three bedroom units on offer.

Each apartment block brings with it unique features that differentiate it with the rest to bring novelty and diversity in architectural designs.

WestProp Holdings has reaffirmed its desire to grow the housing unit stock and reduce the shortage of accommodation through the provision of luxury dwellings. The company has a vision to lay 0ne billion bricks by 2050 – a feat that will translate into hundreds of housing units.

Company chief executive Mr Ken Sharpe is on record hyping the development.
