Temba Mliswa, a candidate for the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) presidency, has questioned the qualifications of fellow aspirant Nqobile Magwizi, suggesting he is not suited to lead Zimbabwean football.
Mliswa and Magwizi are two of the nine confirmed candidates competing for the top position in the upcoming ZIFA elections, set for January 25, 2025.
In a post on X, Mliswa expressed that Magwizi might be better suited for the role of ZIFA CEO rather than president. He wrote: “I saw Nqobile Magwizi’s CV, and with all due respect, I would say he is very qualified to be the ZIFA CEO. His resume aligns more with the CEO position than with the presidency. In fact, if I win, I would offer him that role.”
