By A Correspondent| Mutare-based singer Captain Britain has set social media ablaze with his freestyle videos, in which he comments on his music career and addresses challenges, including the lack of local support for his artistry.

The controversy reached new heights during a recent *Cup Clash* in Harare, where Captain Britain made a brief appearance before being ejected by the event’s MC, Marondera-based singer Van Chichi.

Following the incident, Captain Britain took to his social media platforms, claiming he was unfairly disqualified and insisting he would have won the coveted prize—a BMW vehicle—ultimately awarded to Ngwere Lite.

Captain Britain has also publicly criticized the people of Mutare for their lack of support, pointing to a poorly attended show at Beit Hall, which, despite extensive promotion, drew only one attendee. However, he has since reconciled with his Mutare fans, acknowledging their recognition of him as “Chibaba Chemangoma”.

He has made a video begging for a Toyota Aqua from controversial businessman Wicknell Chivhayo.
