Gift Ostallos Siziba, the spokesperson for Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa, is leading a critical community relief initiative in Bulawayo, following a devastating storm that severely affected the area earlier this week.

In a statement issued on Friday, Siziba provided details of the ongoing relief efforts in Ward 21, Sizinda, one of the hardest-hit areas.

“We have commenced relief efforts in Ward 21, Sizinda, Bulawayo where a devastating storm ravaged our constituency earlier this week,” Siziba said, highlighting the extent of the damage caused by the storm.

The storm left twenty homes with their roofs ripped off, displacing families and leaving them vulnerable.

Siziba expressed his gratitude for the swift and coordinated response from various stakeholders who have come together to provide urgent assistance to the affected families.

“We’re grateful for the swift response from different stakeholders, who joined forces with us to provide urgent assistance.

Together, we’re working tirelessly to ensure our community receives the support they deserve,” he added.

The relief efforts have included distributing essential supplies and mobilizing local support to restore the damaged homes. Siziba emphasized the importance of community solidarity during such challenging times, reinforcing the CCC’s commitment to putting the people first.

“For the people, with the people always. Asbonge,” he concluded, a phrase that resonates with the unity and resilience being demonstrated by both the affected communities and the relief teams.
