By A Correspondent| While much of the public’s attention has been focused on controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his questionable donation of luxury cars to musicians and prominent figures, another name has emerged in a similar fashion.

The new ‘chigananda’ is non other than Paul Tempter Tungwarara, who claims credit for bringing in the investor behind the new city development in Mt Hampden.

Tungwarara recently sparked a social media storm after criticizing outspoken war veteran and Zanu PF Central Committee member Blessed Geza. This came after Geza held a press conference opposing Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 agenda. Tungwarara dismissed Geza’s remarks as “retrogressive,” warning that such opposition poses a significant threat to Zimbabwe’s ongoing development efforts.

Appointed by Mnangagwa as the Special Presidential Investment Advisor to the United Arab Emirates, Tungwarara has not been without controversy. He previously faced criticism over allegations of inflating the cost of constructing a pre-cast wall at the State House on Chancellor Avenue.
