By Munacho Gwamanda- An Air Force of Zimbabwe pilot, Air Lieutenant Nesbert Tambudza has died in a plane crash.

The Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) said Air Lieutenant Tambudza died this afternoon after the Karakorum-8 (K-8) jet trainer aircraft that he was flying crashed in the Guinea Fowl area in Gweru.

In a statement, ZDF said the accident happened when the pilot was on a solo consolidation general handling navigation training.
