Parents in Masvingo have voiced concerns over the absence of Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Disc Jockey, DJ Masomere, from his teaching post at Ndarama High School.

The allegations suggest that the DJ-turned-teacher has become increasingly unreliable in fulfilling his teaching responsibilities.

According to a parent, DJ Masomere’s position as a teacher has been compromised due to his growing influence and connections.

“DJ Masomere, because of his interactions with the First Family and corrupt individuals like Wicknell, now goes to work whenever it suits him, sabotaging the children in the process,” one frustrated parent said.

Masomere, a qualified educator who continues to receive his salary, has reportedly only attended to his duties sporadically, with many raising questions about his commitment. “The school head is scared of him,” another parent revealed.

“Even those at the district education offices are afraid of him as well.”

A parent from Rujeko Suburb added further to the claims, saying, “This behavior is a result of his connections with people in high places. He even boasts that nothing will happen to him because he’s now a ‘big fish.’ It’s a waste of taxpayers’ money to pay someone who isn’t doing their job properly. If he’s not sitting at home, he’s traveling across the country, pushing the unconstitutional 2030 mantra.”

The situation has raised concerns over the accountability of public servants, with many questioning how someone can continue to draw a salary while seemingly neglecting their duties.
