• (Today, we remember and honor the late President Morgan Richard Tsvangirai)* A courageous leader who fought tirelessly for democracy and freedom in Zimbabwe. As we mark the anniversary of his passing on February 14, 2018, we reflect on his remarkable legacy and the impact he had on our nation.

As the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), President Tsvangirai played a pivotal role in shaping Zimbabwe’s political landscape.

He was a champion of constitutionalism, the rule of law, and freedom of expression. His bravery and perseverance in the face of adversity inspired a generation of Zimbabweans to stand up for their rights and demand a better future.

As Masvingo Youth Taskforce, we remember President Tsvangirai’s contributions to our province and our country.

We honour his memory by continuing to work towards the ideals he believed in: a more just, equitable, and democratic Zimbabwe.

Calvin Tinarwo, leader of Masvingo Youth Taskforce, aptly described President Tsvangirai as a brave man who taught us to be what we are.

His legacy continues to inspire us to stand up for our rights and to work towards a brighter future for all Zimbabweans.

As we pay tribute to President Tsvangirai’s memory, we also extend our solidarity to President Nelson Chamisa, who has continued to carry the torch of democracy and freedom in Zimbabwe. May President Tsvangirai’s legacy continue to inspire us to strive for a better Zimbabwe for all .
