A Correspondent| Two people died on the spot near Shabane mine on Thursday.

The state media reports an unconfirmed number of survivors with various injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned in the early hours of Thursday near Shabanie Mine along Buchwa road.

The state owned ZBC quotes Officer the Commanding Zvishavane District Inspector Edward Ncube confirming the accident although he said he was yet to get the full details.

The injured were reportedly rushed to Shabanie Mine Hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

Although it is not clear what led to the accident, ZBC News said it understands one of the vehicles, a commuter omnibus was heading towards Zvishavane from Mazvihwa with an unspecified number of passengers.

The driver of the commuter omnibus lost control before the vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
