Staff Reporter| Masvingo Minister Josiah Hungwe has denied declaring that he is going to use the army to campaign for ZANU PF in the upcoming 2018 elections.

ZANU PF UK Chairman Nick Mangwana writes early Friday morning that Hungwe has denied ever making the statement.

“After dinner I politely asked Baba JD Hungwe the reports on soldiers campaigning for Zanu PF.

“I said I had been advised that Zanu PF was going to win on its performance and vision between now and elections. He denied ever saying that and expressed genuine shock.”

  1. Sure it shocking to note that Josiah Hungwe is denying what he said in the newspaper only a day or two ago.The president made a blunder in appointing such old and dead woods who use their backs in thinking. It clearly shows that such decisions and talks are done when somebody is asleep really.Sure Mr president we appreciate your choices of these ministers but honestly we should have people who click because people of this calibre taint your wise selections at some points. Thus why we had to protest against the former president because his decisions were questionable. like what Josiah Hungwe is doing. When he equated the president with biblical Joshuah what followed that statement. These are the people who pull us down even if we were to progress.
