ARMY LATEST : Biti, Chamisa In USA Diplomatic Offensive

Pauline Phiri | MDC Alliance leaders Tendai Biti and Nelson Chamisa are in the United States for a high level diplomatic offensive, in which they will brief politicians and bereaucrats on the political situation in Zimbabwe.
Chamisa is quoted on social media saying, “I’m with bro& Cde Biti on a vital global advocacy and diplomatic outreach.Our meetings are high level with the state department, Congress, Global business and US civil society.Our focus is repositioning opposition & global coalition for free and fair elections in 2018.”
It is also reported the Zimbabwe delegation will also meet President Donald Trump.

I do not have a party of choice as yet your ZANU is rotten in my eyes. Fighting corruption by dragging only Chombo to court? guys be serious and walk the talk, if the election is about winning the electorate that will win you more in this little time. MDC is out for me Tsvangirai changing his party’s constitution to remain on top, double standards, and I believe even CEO’s of private companies should not spend more than 15 years at one coz they won’t have new ideas and will take the co’s as private property and that’s benevolent 10 is the best for me .

Meeting Trump, I wish them success. This is the problem we have with the opposition, whilst ZANU(PF) is strategising, they are busy touring the world. Will the Americans listen to the trio instead of their man on the ground, the US Ambassador in Harare. The so called alliance is very lose hanging by the thread, which will break come 2018 when they jostle for positions. We are under a new dispensation and if people still think this is ZANU (PF) under Mugabe, we are in for rude awakening. When your opponent changes strategy and you continue with the same old story, you are bound to fail. This has been the case when we near elections, that we despatch high level people to solicit for funds and support. Support is here in Zimbabwe and not the USA or AU. What is the alliance saying to the generality of people in Zimbabwe. I like the trio, because they are using high sounding words which mean nothing at all, who can blame them, they are on travel and subsistence allowance. Dollar muhomwe and chinozobuda hapana.

A house built on a sand foundation won’t stand. Those who aspire to be leaders should demonstrate good moral values,free of corrupt and be people of integrity and selfless. Thats has been the reason why we got stuck with one leader for the last 37 years. Hence why I question the motives of these gentlemen. I bet you their are on a mission to fullfill their selfish agenda not for people of Zimbabwe. Tell me what values will Trump brings to Zimbabwe. At this moment they should spend most of their time in their constituents looking at the needs of the people ,so that they see how they can improve the ordinary people’s life,Not going overseas inorder for them to get travel allowance and get donations ,for themselves

Though we want credible elections i dont think trump has something for us other than sanctions. It was supposed to be all political parties. Biti and Hungwe are politically stale. But Mnangagwa and Tsvangirai are promissing. Check their policies before you comment

These guys waste their time on what they call diplomatic offensive bla bla,Trumpy and those westerners won’t vote for them. I guess they are on begging spree , It’s high time life audits should be effected on these guys, and in the process enriching themselves. Just check on number of properties Biti has acquired so far,food for thought
