By Langton Ncube| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Vice President  Constatino Chiwenga the Defence and War veterans minister .

According to a statement issued by the acting chief secretary to the President and Cabinet, Justin Mupanhanga,Vice President Kembo Mohadi has also been assigned to oversee the National Peace and Reconciliation  ministry.

Chiwenga was also yesterday sworn in as the country’s first deputy Vice President.

He was the commander of the Zimbabwe defence Forces before he was retired to take up the Vice President’s position.

Chiwenga was the leader of the coup which pushed the former head of state Robert Mugabe out of power last month.

  1. The Croc is clearly dum , the guys has nothing in his brains except a few balls , that is why he had to rely on our army to take over from the old man, What is now apparent is the coup was not meant to lift the croc to a positon of power but was meant to position the army chieves to positions of power in the civilian politics something which the old man was opposed to,. unfortunately the croc is not very gifted upstairs . The Party has lost credibility , they have lost the legacy the purport to be restoring , that legacy that Power is derived from the people , the same legacy that caused thousands of Zimbabweans to cross the border into neighbouring countries to sacrifice their lives,
Now power is by the Gun and the way of the gun is always destined to fail
