I hope this is not true because if it is then its for sure South African leaders are bent to destroy Zimbabwe. Their agenda and reasons we dont know. Zimbabweans are in this state today because of Mbeki, who took the very wrong stance on Zimbabwe when the opposition won the elections with a majority vote. Zanupf took more than a month to announce the results. Now its Zuma, I hope its far from the truth. Mbeki should grab this opportunity and right his wrongs of the past. He should take a trip to Zim to talk to his friend. This would help Zimbabwe.

Everyone is now compromising to having another zanu pf leader as long as its not Mugabe. I thought the idea was to have another leader no affiliated with zanu pf because zanu pf put us here in the first place. Grace and the kids get to walk away with billions, mugabe cleans house. zanu pf now knows the traitors and those just using zanu to make money. they are cleaning house. going back to basics. the original guys who started this from the beginning. now talk of dabengwa, mujuru, tsvangira, ngwena GNU, ok but tsvangira isn’t well and will not last 5 years, so its back to ngwena and mujuru ZANU PF born and breed. so what has changed???? Mugabe won. He planned his succession and planned it well…. master manipulator to the last breathe

It is reported that President Mugabe had accepted to resign but President Zuma talked him out of it.

I would take what President Mugabe says of others with a pitch of salt, he is a master in the game of divide and rule. He refused to resign long before SA got involved and he is one renowned for being his own man, he did not have to accept President Zuma’s advice on this matter.

The fault lays with the coup plotters, they really should have had a plan B and have the resolve to implement it. Whatever happens now there is no doubt that President Mugabe is coming out of this the winner. During the Graduation ceremony today he was seen dozing, this time he probably even snored even if he was wide awake just to underline that he was totally relaxed with not a single thing to worry him!

These stupid generals cannot even arrange a booze up in a brewery! Those of us who know Chiwenga will tell you this is not surprising, the man is incompetent which is exactly why Mugabe promoted him – tyrants love simpletons and half-wits around them, they are as malleable as mud!

I cannot wait to see a democratic Zimbabwe in which merit counts. After decades of idiots ruling the roost, that will be refreshing!

Nonsense. Zuma’s authority and legitimacy to rule is being challenged at the moment. He’s desperate to get his wife in as president so that she can stall all his legal problems.
