A Chatsworth based police officer in Masvingo province’s Gutu district, has been admitted at Masvingo General Hospital, after demanding unprotected sex from his wife in a drunken stupor.
The wife, Melody Matuke (21) who could not stomach the weird sexual advance turned down the desire, leading to a scuffle that forced Saviour Mlahleki (26) to threaten the woman wife with a knife.
As if it was not enough, Melody disarmed her sexually starved husband, a trained Zimbabwe police officer and stabbed him. He was rushed to Masvingo General Hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Masvingo Police Press & Liaison office declined to speak on the matter and promised to come back with the comment, which was not done by the time of going to press.
According to sources privy to the family, Mlahleki did not take light his wife’s refusal to have sex leading to a misunderstanding. The wife Melody is said to have refused to have unprotected sex as she suspected that her husband was sleeping around with prostitutes.
The matter which was initially reported at Chatsworth police station where Mlahleki is stationed will proceed after the recovery of the victim, who is admitted at Masvingo Provincial Hospital as he sustained serious injuries.
