By Job Sikhala| 14 June 2015 will mark 100 days without knowing the whereabouts of Itai Dzamara after his abduction by Mugabe’s rabid agents. Zimbabweans have been expected to have him released by those who did this heinous act.
Churches and Civic society organizations have calendared 14 June as the Day when tens of thousands of Zimbabweans will gather for the Bring Back Itai Dzamara Prayer Rally. Our esteemed President Morgan Richard Tsvangirai will lead other political leaders who have confirmed their attendance for solidarity on the day in question. Other leaders who have confirmed their attendance are Prof. Lovemore Madhuku, Dr. Simba Makoni, Dr. Dumiso Dabengwa, Mr. Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo.
Also in attendance will be all diplomats accredited to Zimbabwe both African and Continental. Lets come in our thousands to demand Itai Dzamara’s whereabouts and support the churches, civic society organisations and our political leaders for this national cause. Gospel music will be provided by Fungisai Zvakavapano and Blessing Shumba!
Venue: Zimbabwe Grounds
Time: 10am sharp
Speakers: Church Leaders
Civic Society Leaders
All Political Leaders
See you there!

  1. Actually those you think will be grandstanding are the organizers of the gathering. Somethings are better said than never said.

  2. There are some corrupt and incompetent politicians who want to use this tragic incident for their own political selfish gain. I would want to attend the meeting in support of Dzamara and not to hear Tsvangirai grand standing!

  3. Dzamara will NOT be found anytime soon coz pane $200 000 yaakaramba kugovana nevamwe…

  4. The reason is that Zimbos have quickly learnt that if you’re not careful unoshandiswa kugadzirira vamwe zvakanaka iwe wosara uchingotambura!! For example, one might attend for genuine reasons but there might be others contemplating civil disobedience, so if violence were to flare up those innocents could get beaten, injured, property destroyed, etc

  5. Ko iye Sikhala akambodzidza kupiko kubva anyora chirungu chakamonyoroka kudai: “Zimbabweans have been expected to have him released …” Ko kungo shandisa rurimi rwamai zvinei ??!!

  6. Will the coward allow them? I have my own doubts. If they manage to pull this, then it sets a precedence, for the commemoration of the gugurawundi massacre. They will have no justification to stop it.

  7. This is where Zimbabweans should come out in their thousands, yet they carry on with life as if nothing is wrong nxaaa

  8. Good point Jon. “nothing else” like what. Dzamara’s disappearance is political and if the ZANOIDS think that we will spare them at this gathering they would be day-dreaming. Bring back Dzamara!

  9. What is nothing else. Everything else imaginable has to do with Dzamara. Give us examples of what you are referring to as ‘something else’

  10. Let us hope that the focus will be Itai Dzamara and nothing else.
