Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo| Masvingo State Minister State Minister Josaya Dunira Hungwe has described President Emmerson Mnangagwa as a God given political saint.

While in what appeared like excitement, frothing at the mouth and panting, Hungwe told party members at a Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting in Masvingo yesterday, Mnangagwa was chosen by God to lead the country.

“In President Mnangagwa we have a God given leader. Despite the challenges he encountered God knew he was the ideal person to lead the country.

We can now sing and celebrate as Zimbabweans because President Mnangagwa is our saviour. Yes he is able to transform our lives,” said Hungwe.

The most senior politician in Masvingo was silent on the government’ s economic recovery policies.

Political analysts here said the Zanu PF culture of bootlicking would continue despite Robert Mugabe’s resignation. Political writer and analyst Batsiranai Ngugama said Hungwe was a confirmed political misfit.

“What can you expect from Hungwe, he is a tired and jaded politician.

His comments reflect the typical Zanu PF bootlicking mentality,” said Ngugama.

  1. Mai Chibwe also mischevious what gives u the impression that Hungwe and Mutsvangwa will kill for their leader .. Who was killled in operation restore Legacy??

Are u prophetic?? and is it by the power of God or Lucifer How do you see people dying more people dying than Gukurahundi era??

Zimababwe needs peace and national healing, peace and reconciliation about Gukurahundi….Everyone afffected by the Era needs to tell their story not just Mnangagwa as parties to this unfortunate and bad incident of our history….

The spirit of venegeance and being stuck in the past will not help anyone

Zim deserves better for future generations it needs ideas and solutions to some of the probems u hv listed above…..

  2. whilst the Army was heavy handed lets not be mischievious wena “Pakaipa” … I think as zimbabweans we need honesty not be sensational with an intention to further divide and propagate hate … Ngwenya compared DISSIDENTS not MATEBELEs to Cockroaches…. Get it right … DISSIDENTS WERE INDEED A PROBLEM.

  3. The ring leaders of this genocide were Robert Gabriel Mugabe, the deposed President of Zimbabwe, the current President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who at the time was the State Security Minister, Constatino “Dominic Chinenge” Chiwenga, the current Army General who deposed Mugabe through a Coup D’état, the late Army General Commander, Rex Nhongo Mujuru, Air Force Commander, Perence “Bigboy” Shiri who was the then Commander of the 5th Brigade and now the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture and the former Defence Minister, Sydney Sekeramai among many others. At the time of the genocide, Perence Shiri assumed a godly status and blasphemously nick-named himself “Black Jesus”.

The current president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was the then State Security Minister, compared the Matebele, in April 1983, to “cockroaches” that needed to be killed by a now banned insecticide called DDT. The North-Korean trained 5th Brigade killing machine was compared to the DDT insecticide.

  4. Zvimadhara izvi migido (imbwa) dzavanhu idzi….kunakirwa nei kubva munhu arasa njere achivukura kudaro….vadhara, vatana vanorashika njere kudaro…musatanyoko wake Hungwe, bratifuru!!

  5. Removing Bootlicking from a ZANOID is as difficult and dangerous as eating Mbwirembwire from a pouch while driving a small car on a heavily potholed road in Zimbabwe. A whole lot of tricky situations will happen at once and cause chaos in the mind. They were taught to default to the dear leader who is necessarily infalable and always inspired , hence the reference to God.

  6. Is this fool not called Chasura? What he is spewing is precisely the meaning of his dirty name.

  7. I abhor this old, braying tribalist. I wonder why we continue to recycle political dinosaurs as if Zimbabwe has run dry of great brains.

  8. Must have memory loss regarding similar comments made about former President Mugabe? What a shame! He needs to check into an old people’s home and play tsoro. Too old and weary to think strategically. Typical flip flop and opportunistic ZANU PF tired horses.
