Staff Reporter | The National Darts Association of Zimbabwe (NDAZ) annual Easter Inter Provincial Darts Championships kick off in the Mashonaland East Capital Marondera this Friday evening.
The annual tournament features provincial select teams from all the country’s ten provinces from which national team players are selected.
In a circular to the provinces NDAZ Secretary General Stephen Mwarindira said that the tournament will kick off on Friday evening and run until Tuesday morning. All the ten provinces are expected to be at the tournament though Matabeleland North is doubtful.
Tough competition is expectedin this year’s tournament which Mashonalanda West Province led by current Zimbabwe champion David Nyemba has dominated for the last three years. Bulawayo and Harare who are traditional rivals to Mashonaland West are expected to fight to wrestle the championship this time around.
