Staff Reporter | Multiple award winning humanitarian, Rumbidzai Kamba could not let the commotion that was rocking the country a few days ago bring her down as she flew the country’s flag high at the Pan African Humanitarian Awards held in Tanzania a fortnight ago.

Kamba who is the founder and director of ZiMwana Worldwide, an organisation working on challenges facing young women and girls in the disadvantaged communities, clinched the continental award for being the in-community-leadership at a colourful ceremony held in the Tanzanian capital on the day Zimbabweans were marching in the streets against President Robert Mugabe.

Kamba was immediately meant to fly out to the United Kingdom to receive a similar award from renowned CA Magazine global awards but could not make it due to the political uncertainty that was prevailing in the country.

ZimEye.com congratulates Ms Kamba for her accolades.
