ZRP cops flee angry crowds… ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW

Former Kwekwe Central Member of Parliament Blessing Chebundo and four others who were yesterday arrested on charges of inciting public violence, have been released on bail.
Chebundo was arrested together with other four other residents Sekai Marashe, Tendai Kokera, Shadreck Tobaiwa and Moses Mashazhu, appeared in court this morning and were released on $100 bail.
The group at the weekend led a procession which was demonstrating against the country’s deepening political and economic crisis.
They are being charged with public violence as defined in Section 36 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act and they are expected to appear at Kwekwe Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
They were represented in court by Reginald Chidawanyika.
