Are we not better off with our own white farmers giving back those jobs. Please use your brain use regional rate of pay for comparison otherwise you make zimbabwean produce unsaleable. You do not merely give rates of pay you consider a saleable final price. right now zimbabwean products are too expensive in SADc because zimbabwe has the highest pay rates.

Tendai Biti and Dewa Mavhinga were spot on to say that sanctions should not be lifted at the moment, because of a new junta in Zimbabwe.If sanctions were to be lifted, will that mean Zimbabwe is no longer under circumstances that caused those sanctions to be enacted in the first place? EDM has not shown at all that he is a different animal from that which Mugabe was.The poltical situation has not moved an inch in Zimbabwe to a democratic dispensation, like what ED has promised, infact it is proving day by day that he may even be a worse leader than what Mugabe was.Inspite of his misrule, Mugabe was a single minded man, which ED is not.As long as ED has not shown enough apetite to distance himself from Mugarbage politics, I do not see the sanctions being lifted up very soon.Now Zanu-PF zealots all over the place, like Acie Lumumba are busy crying foul that Biti has called the US to maintain santions, what did they expect him to say? Did they expect him to say, they should be removed when people on the ground have not shown any seriousness,that they want to turn over a new leaf.Biti is not stupid like most of them.Remember Biti comes from a background of being cheated on many occassions by Zanu-PF.He knows what kind of crooks they are.I say thumbs up for him for being bold and standing for the truth, even though some fools are calling him names.Those are the kinds of progressive leaders that we want.

13. Tendayi Biti is a patriot looking out for us Africans. Yes we want jobs to come in but at what cost. Investors look at large profits they cannot make in Democratic countries with Minimum wage and good working conditions. At the moment unskilled labour is $2.50/hr and is not linked to inflation. So we want things in place to protect workers and give them voice. This can only happen in a Democracy. We dont TRUST EDM wants that because in a public Speech (Google it if you missed it). He said “ZANU WILL RULE FOREVER” and referred to Opposition as “Barking dogs”. Does this sound like a man interested in letting voters decide? Plus no one RULES US. We are not a monarchy with Kings that rule. we are a Republic governed by A Constitution based Democracy which ZANUPF FAILED TO DO FOR 37yrs. A leopard does NOT change its spots. All we want is to see which way the wind is blowing and if Prez puts in the systems and processes in place for. Democracy, then fine. If not, sanctions remain in place while we fight for Democracy. Revenge n Torture is not JUSTICE. Human and Civil Rights for ALL, not some.=Justice .EQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW =JUSTICE. We need ZEC, Media n Judiciary to be independent of and separate from govt. If Prez EDM does this, then we know he is for Democracy. and sanctions can then be removed
