The case in which three Matebeleland based citizens Charles Thomas, John Gazi, and Paul Siwela are applying for their treason case to be dismissed, was once again re-scheduled to Thursday.
The reason for the postponement was because the judge was not ready.
The three activists of the Matebeleland Liberation organisation are applying to have the state’s case dismissed on the grounds that evidence presented by the prosecution is neither credible nor convincing.
The judge merely said the verdict is not ready when the case was convened Tuesday.
“If you remember we made an application for discharge, last time we adjourned…at the close of the state’s case…We made an application that the state has not shown a good case to place them on their defence.” their lawyer Robert Ndlovu told ZimEye soon after the hearing.
The case has seen numerous failures by the state including shifting of statements by police witnesses, and also a judge resigning on the case.
It is very rare in Zimbabwe for court cases to be delayed on the basis the judge is not ready.
The three activists were being tried by the state on charges of possessing literature materials the state deemed to be treasonous.
Numerous opposition politicians have been taken to court since 1982, beginning with the late Joshua Nkomo, Ndabaningi Sithole, Morgan Tsvangirai, and Roy Bennett.

To put facts into perspective, Mzilikazi’s name is ‘Mziligazi’ son of Matshobana, he migrated from the now Transvaal/Orange free state exactly in 1926 having been defeated by Boers whose cattle he had stolen. His kraal was between two tributaries to the Orange river, The Vaal, and xxxxx. Before that, he had stolen Shaka’s cattle, blur blur blur. He left with exactly 200 Zulu impis and five hundred followers, sacking all the land due north west. He was defeated by the Bamangwato, and changed course due north north.At Matobo, he enslaved the SHona/Torwa (Kalanga)headquartered at Nharetare ruins due south of Shangani. He left 2/3 of his impis and followers and trekked north to cross the Zambezi, but was beaten by the Makololo (early Sotho migrators) under queen Nancimbincimbi of Barotseland(west Zambia)When he came back to Matobo, he found his son Nkulumane crowned king in his stead. Of course he just butchered him and his followers.You know Old Mzi don’t you. All assegai and no democracy. Lobengula survived by a whisker through running away from father. Paul Siwela belongs to a new generation which has seen the light, a generation that will correct the mistakes made by our fathers and forefathers. We are tired of asking to be ruled well now we want to govern ourselves and its our right. No amount of insults will stop us from liberating ourselves. All Zimbabweans should start preparing for a life with Matabeleland as an independent and sovereign neighbour state which is not a Zimbabwean province. Paul Siwela is a hero who has paved the way for an independent Republic of Matabeleland without fear. The birth pains have begun. Hoza 2018!!!!!

How many Vice-Presidents have come from that region yet they all don’t seem to care?
