By Dorrothy Moyo| Below are direct official quotes of top government officials, Presidential advisor, Chris Mutsvangwa and Masvingo Provincial Minister Josiah Hungwe as they stated that President Emmerson Mnangagwa is going to use to army to win the upcoming 2018 elections.

Masvingo Provincial Affairs Josiah Hungwe last week told a Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting that Zanu-PF will use the Zimbabwe Defence Forces when campaigning in next year’s harmonised elections.

He said: “In the Bible, the Kings ruled with the army on their side. Saka patinoenda ku2018 elections musasiya soja. (Zanu PF) Chairman, soja apa imi mberi. (When we campaign in 2018, do not leave the army. We will move side by side with the military),” he said.

Meanwhile Presidential advisor Chris Mutsvangwa speaking on Friday said, “We will win resoundingly, better than the 1980 elections and we will mobilise heavily working with the ZDF.” WATCH MUTSVANGWA IN THE VIDEO BELOW –

  1. The Constitution and the Bible they raised during their Oath of Office are toilet paper to ZANU PF. Nothing has changed!

  2. Ha ha ha

I have to tell you, Makanza: I thoroughly enjoyed your ‘jesus on a donkey analogy’, which describes well the delusion of you and the other idiots who like to whine endlessly about your moronic “Mugabe’s misrule”.

It was such an apt analogy, even if you were bashing your own stupidity.
It certainly was good for a laugh. lol

It is only the donkey mindset that would expect that a lowly Crocodile, Ngwena, is ever going to replace the majesty of Lion, Mhondoro Mugabe.

On a more serious note, I do agree fully on your assessment of Mouthy Mutsvangwa.

Hopefully the stealthy Ngwena has him around to attract and absorb and represent all the sh!t that will fly around.

I can’t see how pompous ‘donkey’,Mutsvangwa, serves any wise purpose, other than may be to have Mnangagwa rides his ever-braying behind.

  3. Looks like there are some unrestrained large mouths in the new ZANUPF. The question is who are they speaking for? If this is official ZANUPF policy then we are in for a roasting…frying pan to fire kind of thing. Hungwe and Chinamasa have always been loose canon balls and cde Mutsvangwa is too full of himself as always. One wonders whether he is the right choice of adviser to the President. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey the poor thing didn’t know the crowds had come out for Jesus and thought it’s moment of glory had finally arrived. When we went on the streets in our thousands it was not in support of a ZANUPF faction but rather against Robert Mugabe’s continued misrule. If ZANUPF continues to fail to make this distinction and continues to think their final moment of glory has arrived then they are in for a rude awekening come 2018 elections.
