Mnangagwa Returns Home From New York

By Own Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has returned home from New York, United States, where he attended the 73rd United Nations General Assembly.

Mnangagwa was welcomed at the Robert Mugabe International Airport by the two vice presidents Retired General Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi and other senior government officials.

In his maiden speech at the United Nations General Assembly held under the theme “Making the United Nations relevant to all people: Global Leadership and Shared Responsibilities for Peaceful Equitable and Sustainable Societies”, President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe is now focusing on economic development now that the elections are over, as the country seeks to leapfrog modernisation and industrialisation.-StateMedia
