By Own Correspondent| The Presidential results announced by the country’s elections body (ZEC) which saw Zanu Pf’s Emmerson Mnangagwa being declared winner of the just ended harmonised polls are a total negation of the will of the people, the MDC Alliance Presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa has claimed.

Chamisa’s lawyer Advocate Thabani Mpofu said this to journalists in the capital Harare Wednesday morning revealing that all is in order for the launch of the court challenge to contest the announced presidential election results.

Said Advocate Mpofu:

“We wish to assure everyone concerned that the situation is under control. We have our secret weapon which we will unleash through this court challenge and you are going to see it. You will see what the people of Zimbabwe said on the 30th of July 2018.

We urge the nation to be calm, to go about their business. The matter has assumed a legal dimension in terms of bringing the court application.

We wish to assure everyone concerned that the situation is absolutely under control. All the evidence that we require is available.”
