Jane Mlambo| Budiriro ward 43 MDC Councillor Norman Makondo has been arrested by the Police after he confronted them against harassing vendors at a local shopping centre.

According to MDC Youth Assembly member Denford Ngadziore, Makondo was charged with inciting public violence and is currently detained at Budiriro Police Station.

“About 50 Zimbabwe Republic were arresting and harassing vendors at Budiriro 5 OK shops and the local Councillor confronted the Police. He was arrested immediately now charged with inciting Public Violence at Budiriro Police Station,” said Ngadziore.
