Staff Reporter | Riot police on Monday morning continued with their widely condemned aggressive behavior as they attacked and barred MDC-T vice Presidents Elias Mudzuri and Nelson Chamisa from entering Harare magistrate’s courts.
The two MDC-T senior officials had gone to attend the trial of 74 activists who were arrested in connection with the last Friday civil unrest that rocked central Harare.
Riot police blocked the court entrance and caused a stampede as people forced themselves into the court.
Meanwhile three activists have been arrested for demonstrating outside the Harare Magistrate’s courts.
The three, Pride Mukono, Makomborero Haruzivishe, Methluli Dube have been taken to a police base which is at the Harare magistrate’s court.
