By Own Correspondent| Environment, Water and Climate Minister Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri who yesterday made her first public appearance at Mutare Aerodrome in Manicaland during a Zanu Pf rally after her absence following the Bulawayo bomb blast has revealed that she is fit and back in one piece.
Muchinguri Kashiri was airlifted to South Africa together with Vice President Kembo Mohadi following the White City Stadium bomb blast which injured 47 people, 2 of whom later succumbed to injuries sustained during the explosion.
Zanu Pf said the bomb explosion was targeting its leader President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Muchinguri Kashiri denied reports that she lost a body part during the blast revealing that she is fit and had been successfully treated in South Africa.
In her vote of thanks at the Mutare rally held Friday, Muchinguri-Kashiri paid tribute to the ruling party and Government for sending her to South Africa for treatment.
Said Muchinguri-Kashiri:
“My fellow party members, let me tell you that I am fit. I am fit and running around.
Please ignore all statements that you have been getting from the independent media that I lost this or that part of my body, I am back.”
