By A Correspondent-Zanu PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Justice Rita Makarau, to be part of the new five judges of the Constitutional Court.

The other four who were yesterday appointed alongside Makarau, are Justices Paddington Garwe, Anne-Mary Goora, Ben Hlatshwayo and Bharat Patel and will take oath before the Acting Chief Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza today.

Before their appointment, the five were all acting judges of the Constitutional Court and they were among the 12 candidates that participated in the public interviews conducted in September last year.
