ZANU PF’s expelled Secretary for Administration, Didymus Mutasa is consulting on options of getting political protection from India where he is domiciled at present.
ZimEye caught up with Mr Mutasa on Monday morning who spoke on his wife’s condition and replied back on the foreign protection issue. Mutasa who revealed he is seeking the assistance of foreign governments to deal with Mugabe, emotionally and abruptly fired back when further drilled in particular on his hopes of getting political asylum as speculated at the weekend. “I do not speak to the press (about that),” he said.
Mutasa however revealed his latest protest and attempt to get sympathy of foreign governments as he declared that Robert Mugabe is breaching the country’s laws. “The current Zanu-PF constitution which was adopted at the 6th congress swings all votes to the president alone and violates the supreme law of the country. It is therefore null and void,” he said.
The final outcome of Mutasa’s latest consultations were not clear at the time of writing as he refused to answer back any further.
Mutasa earlier in the year infamously earned the title “Gamatox” when he fired apparent threats to annihilate people considered a national nuisance by him. He was heavily criticised by First Lady Grace Mugabe in her whirlwind rallies as she taunted: “Pansi leGamatox!,” shortly before being sacked by the party for good.

  1. The rats are jumping off the sinking ship fast fast’ like the vermin they are. The west will as in 1980 welcome them unfortunately !!!!!!!

  2. James Douglas was executed using a guillotine that he himself had so enthusiastically perfected in 1581, in Edinburgh. Didymus, next time you invent something, remember James Douglas. You are a pathetic coward. Go home.

  3. Gamatox is not squealing for justice rule of law and democracy in Zimbabwe. He s squealing for his place on the gravy train. He thinks it’s his right to plunder murder steal elections in Zimbabwe. No comrade this heartless beast deserves no sympathy from us. He needs to be sent back to makoni chiendambuya and face the wrath of the people he abused and terrorized

  4. Lets hope he is going to be granted permission to stay in India, lets hope he is going to see how good his work was towards the general populace who is living outside their country who wish to go back home but are afraid just like him
wish all the remaining members have learnt a lesson from him .never ever beat or kill your country man for political reasons, and to be political tolerances torwards our political opponents

  5. Gadhaffi died like a rat vakomana, without a shirt at all. Ndizvo chaizvo zvinoitika when people are greedy, this is only the beginning. Mirai muone vakoma zvichaitika.

  6. What a sad state of affairs. Welcome to exile mutasa. We have been wondering aimlessly around the world, with little hope that we will ever see our loved ones, whom we left behind. This is not the first time you have done this to us. Come join us in the wilderness. A land of no hope.

  7. I beg to differ with all of you fellow country men and women. I believe that we all waste a lot of energy looking at the past. This man is yet one clear evidence that Mugabe is a tyrant, a merciless dictator who will turn up against his own “comrades” only to preserve his power. Victims of Mugabe must be sympathetic to each other. Instead of attacking this man let us encourage, help and support him as he now says our national laws are deliberately being broken. Mugabe’s supporters must not use our situation to attack Mugabe’s latest prey by pretending to be his opponents who do not want to listen to him. Let all democrats in the MDC-T,United MDC, Mavambo Kusile, Zapu, Margaret Dongo, NCA all Civic groups who want to save Zimbabwe from Mugabe’s family support each other and more so now listen to this man Mutasa.

  8. Dzokai kumba Nyati.Maifunga kuti maZimba ose ari diaspora are not patriotic nhai?.We have suffered for 34 hellish years under your leadership vaNyati.Tidzokerei kumba makanyarara.Hadzi SADC ngai dire na Mugabe kkkkkk , maiti Tsvangirai ne the rest of Zimbabwe vaipengaka ?. You should be “patriotic” and suffer the humiliation and injustice we Zimbabweans are enduring under your party.

  9. kkkkk. scared of living under ur ‘god’ that u created. saka isu wamatambudza makore ese aya totsvakepiwo asylum nhai vamutasa?

  10. This is the bed you prepared for us for the past 34 yrs Mutasa and we slept on it religiously for that long. Does ‘nt the adage, ”Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you” apply here? Lets have you drinking the concoction you prepared for the others for 34 very long years, buddy

  11. It doesn’t help vaMutasa. They will still apply to the Indian govt. for you to be repatriated and face treason charges. Other files may be opened as well. Lack of democracy is what all other zimbos were fighting against, but you was part of a team that coldly and ruthlessly brutalised them. Make peace with you changed status from now onwards.

  12. Oh so now its okay to seek help from foreign governments to deal with Mugabe. Some in ZPF are getting a taste of their own medicine. How do they think the rest of us have felt for the last 15 years. Millions fled into the diaspora with nothing. Mutasa at least will go with millions in ill gotten gains. Not for one second do I agree with the disgusting way in which ZPF dealt with Mai Mujuru and he followers but now they are having a small taste of what their party really does to its own people. Mugabe has been at war with his own people; the Ndebeles, the opposition, the whites and anyone perceived to be different since 1980. He makes the war. He talks the war. We all just want to get on a rebuild a shattered nation. What sort of government treats its people the way we have all been treated? And then turns and devours even its own. Mai Mujuru and her supporters should crawl over a mile of broken glass to apologise to the nation. And if the other half that is left behind thinks it will escape judgment they should think again. Whatever we sow we reap. Simple! I weep for my nation; may God have mercy on us!
