Controversial and sex scandal ridden preacher, Andrew Wutaunashe (who prophesies good of the 2013 sham elections saying President Robert Mugabe was by God Almighty given a second chance to finish “what he started”) was yesterday ditched by scores of followers across the world who have now started a new church, the Family Covenant Church. Below are pictures from various church meetings within and beyond Zimbabwe ALSO READ – Wutaunashe deserted by church after sex sleaze.

  7. Family of God Church does not own any buildings or buses but Andrew Wutawunashe owns buildings and buses. There has been a fight for years in that church about the registration of assets. It delayed the building of the church in Eastlea because Andrew has a hold on all church assets. Reason why FOG does not have its own churches countrywide like Zaoga, all they do is rent.

  9. The Family of God church has thousands of members and owns buildings buses etc. I see quite a crowd here but this Bulawayo hall does not hold thosands. To think that everyone will ditch Andrew Wutaunashe is foolish and naïve. Obviously it is the right of those who left to do so, but knowing the trend in churches most of those who have left will trickle back to the Family of God because financial responsibilities are everywhere. These people are hiring public facilities they will need money, these pastors will still need to be paid. And predictably the usual fight for positions will begin and other splits will follow. In the meantime Wutaunashe will repent before his God that is if he did anything wrong, and be forgiven and go on with his life. Most of the vitriol here is being spewed by ignoramuses who have no inkling of what transpired in this case. Also what empty head stays in a church for years knowing money is being misappropriated? Nothing new about all this stuff.
