Zanu PF Political Commissar, Kasukuwere “calls upon party cadres to stop the infighting. He said the party’s Harare leaders were fast losing discipline and respect for each other as evidenced by petitions and vote of no confidence constantly being passed on each other.”
So the Political Commissar is calling for end to infighting and discipline in Zanu PF and yet he said nothing last year when Mugabe and his wife vicious attacking Mai Mujuru and her supporters because she was set to win power in the upcoming congress. Mai Mujuru and all her supporters have since been ruthlessly kicked out of government and party and many continue to be haunted to this day because they have dared reveal that Zanu PF has been rigging elections, for example.
This is typical of Zanu PF modus operandi; the leaders make a big song and dance condemning corrupt and lawlessness and yet are themselves the main instigators of lawlessness and have grown filthy rich from corruption. Mugabe has used infighting to ouster Mai Mujuru and her supporter to get what he wanted now the party members are doing the same. The country’s economic meltdown has meant that there is not enough wealth to satisfy the insatiable appetite of the Zanu PF members for loot; the members now have to fight for the scraps.
If President Mugabe is serious about stopping the infighting in Zanu PF then he must bring back the good times of easy money, jobs galore complete with the good roads, clean running water and electricity in every home, working health service and free education, etc., etc.; just as the nation had soon after independence. Indeed the nation is in this sorry economic state precisely because of the 35 years of reckless spending, mismanagement and corruption; now the chicken have come back home to roost in their millions like red billed quelea.
Mugabe can neither stop the economic meltdown, a consequence of his own 35 years of misrule, nor can he stop the infighting in Zanu PF which itself is being fuelled by the economic meltdown. Mugabe has kept Zanu PF thugs happy and contended all these years by allowing them to loot; now there is nothing left for them to loot the party is imploding as the thugs fight over the scraps.
Zanu PF was always doomed to fail because it was based on mismanagement and looting which are not sustainable.
This corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF kleptocracy was unsustainable and now it must go for this nation to have fresh start. The only danger to watch out for is that Zanu PF does not drag the whole nation down the precipice with it!

  1. I find the likes of Wilbert and Patrick very boring and nauseating to say the least. Here is why:
    1. The two pretend to agree that Zanu PF is evil and must go yesterday. Yet if you follow closely, they are quick to denigrate and destroy anyone who opposes Zanu PF in any way they could, always claiming they have the know-how of removing Zanu PF while at the same time proffer useless theories. For example, how do you sit back and hope Zanu PF to vanish while you fold your arms at the same time hoping that it will disappear without destroying the nation in doing so? Ridiculous!
    2. The two are so good at destroying the person and character of Morgan Tsvangirayi -one would think he slept with their wives or something worse. Patrick does not miss this “President Mugabe” this and that and with CAPITAL P! This boy loves this Mugabe so much, I shall never be fooled!
    3. These two think that they’re so educated and somehow think that every Zimbabwean will one day learn from the same verses they were opportuned to learn from. How naive can you be to think that every Zimbabwean will one day see how evil Zanu PF is?
You people can dream all you want, but zanoids rule and Morgan Tsvangirayi has followers of very large crowds. To think that those who follow him are stupid is akin to being a full blown zanoid living in the Disapora.

  2. I would say the solution is to let the Zanu PF rats drown just make sure the nation does not drown with them. And the best way right now to ensure we do not drown is for the people to understand what the democratic reforms the nation needs are and then elect the competent men and women to implement those reforms.

  3. It is up to us the people to break this cycle because we are feeling the ill effects of the economic meltdown as much as the Zanu PF chefs if not worse than them!

  4. It is important that you realize that change will come through the ballot box because street protest, no matter how well supported they are not going to give any one the legitimacy to constitute government. Even if the street protest were to force Mugabe to give up power the elections that will follow are likely to produce just another corrupt and incompetent regime.
Before we go out into the streets and protest we must make sure we have voters who know what is it exactly they want, voters who can think for themselves and not follow blindly like sheep.

  5. The people of Zimbabwe have not always been “all talk and no action”, as you say. The people played their part in the armed struggle to end white colonial rule sadly President Mugabe and his Zanu PF cronies highjacked that revolution soon after independence landing the nation in this hell.
The people have risked life and limb, needless to say millions have been beaten or raped and hundreds murdered, to elect Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC village idiots into power on the promise they will deliver democratic change. They failed to get even one reform implemented, the sold-out.
The people of Zimbabwe have done their bit for change but nothing has worked; what is needed is not a call for more people to be beaten, raped and murdered but to review why all past sacrifices by the people have all failed to deliver the free, fair and democratic Zimbabwe we have been seeking.
It is not enough to say both Zanu PF and MDC have failed the nation we must also explain why we, the people, failed to see these politician for the corrupt and incompetent individuals they are.
Until we have an electorate that is not so naive and gullible to be easily fooled by a tyrant or village idiot then going in the street and protesting will too result in no real change we are almost certain to end up with another tyrant or village idiot in State House.
This time before we set off we should all know where we are going and how we are going to get there. We must stop this stupid habit of following leaders blindly like sheep to the slaughter!

  6. Comrades, you are all talk and no action! It’s been like this for the last twenty plus years as they’ve all been plundering our economy. If you think change will come via the ballot box then you are living in dreamland because that is not going to happen. If you think it will be better off having a younger generation of ZANU PF thugs at the helm, then again you are dreaming! If you think that Tsangarai character and his bunch will bring positive change to the country, then you are dreaming! None of the above will work! BUT ! If you were to talk about an entirely new political regime who is not anti white or anti West as these thugs are then the only way to initiate change is to take the Tunisia route and force them out, not necessarily by military force, but through mass civil action, bringing civil unrest and civil chaos to the whole country. You need to chase each and every one of these thugs out of the country and once you’ve done so and a new Government is in place, you then need to hunt down all the thieves, thugs, economic saboteurs, military, police and CIO thugs and make them pay for the horrendous crimes that they have been part of. I’m afraid there is absolutely NO other solution other than mass civil unrest. You have to get rid of each and every ZANU PF thug and all the political hangers on!!! Talk is cheap, money buys the whisky!!! Why have the various North African States done it yet you all choose to be walked over and pushed around by the cowardly individuals currently in power????

  7. Zanu PF can pay the price of the implosion for their sin of fueling corruption and mismanagement and denying these problems all these years. We the ordinary Zimbabweans are suffering too as the result of the economic meltdown; we have played no part in the misrule either than that of failing to put an end to the madness. If we continue to play the passive role of the helpless bystander the regime will drag us all into the depth of hell!

  8. “This corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF kleptocracy was unsustainable and now it must go for this nation to have fresh start. The only danger to watch out for is that
Zanu PF does not drag the whole nation down the precipice with it!” You are so right there my brother!
Zanu PF members are at war with each other, the fight for each to keep their heads above the ever rising economic waters is now fierce and relentless. I used to believe that Zanu PF chefs were all naïve and gullible; they still believed in the economic prosperity the party’s top leaders kept talking about, all that ZimAsset bull! Now I know, from talking with many of these chefs and reading between the lines of the goings on around the country, that many of the chefs now know that the economic situation is set to get a lot, lot worse and hence the panic and dog-eat-dog fighting.
The infighting would have been a lot worst if the opposition had articulated a
peaceful and prosperous alternative to the chaotic Zanu PF rule. People like
Didymus Mutasa would have to have said a lot more about Zanu PF if they were
    sure the party is imploding.
Talk of Zanu PF rats abandon the sinking ship; trust me, those rats will only abandon the sinking ship if hanging on means going down with the ship. Meanwhile they will hang on and be on the lookout for anything afloat they can abandon the sinking ship for or, better still, for any sight of land.
Yes Zanu PF is imploding and yes the regime may drag the rest of the nation into the abyss with it because that is only because we, the people, have failed to articulate an alternative to the Zanu PF dictatorship – even an imploding Zanu PF. The danger of the imploding Zanu PF dragging the nation down with it is real but we will only have ourselves to blame if that was to happen.
There is no reason why this nation have continued to hang on Tsvangirai’s coattail like a frighten child even when it was evident the MDC leader is corrupt and incompetent. We certainly have had many chances to save ourselves from being dragged into the abyss with the imploding Zanu PF, we have wasted these chances and time is fast running out!

  9. Feeding into each other. Economic meltdown excercebates Zanu-Pf in-fighting, and Zanu-PF Infighting excercebates Economic meltdown — whichever way one looks at it.
