BASELESS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST MY HUSBAND WILL NEVER WIPE OFF HIS LEGACY:JTR MUJURU
………I SHALL NEVER FORGET HIS SACRIFICE
We still celebrate the true heroes that led us to our independence, even if each year we are having less and less on what to celebrate, since many have turned their back on the true principles of the struggle. It has become a public secret that we all know what happened to my husband. A minority of people might try to drag his name in the mud and level-up baseless accusations against him but what he achieved can’t be dragged out of his legacy. My husband aiva munhu weVanhu. My family especially my children understand and know the kind of man that was called General Solomon Mujuru. Those who had the chance to meet and interact with him , will tell you his cheerful laugh and jokes. Just like everyone else he was not afraid to attend public events alone. He never applied for a bodyguard or driver saying “l will protect myself”. Nomatter how much they may try to remove him from the history of Zimbabwe, my family and l shall never forget his sacrifice.
We shall never forget.

  1. If the Gen refused to have body guards, did he manage to protect himself then?

  3. True, he even attended senior national football team matches and interacted with the public very well. I remember him saying to me iiichi chii nhai Drector General when Nigeria Senior National Football team led by J J Okocha destroyed the Warriors in a world Cup qualifier at the National Sport Stadium. I miss him so much. Icho! Vanamukoma havarovi povho, nzira neunhu hwemwana wevhu dzakasunungura nyika hatisiye!
