Former Vice President Dr.Joice Mujuru and her senior elder Didymus Mutasa are under attack for not turning up for the Dzamara protest march.
Mujuru already under fire for her inclusion of Zimbabwe’s most hated personality in her “People First” party echelons, Mutasa, was not present during today’s historic march which was attended by opposition leaders, Morgan Tsvangirai, Barbara Nyagomo(PDZ), YARD leader Temba Mliswa, Lynette Karenyi, among a host of others who supported by the Lawyers for Human Rights, thronged Harare’s streets Wednesday calling for an end to abductions.
Mutasa is on record boasting of personally assassinating citizens deemed to be his enemies.
The protesters held banners that honoured abducted activist Paul Chizuze, and Itai Dzamara. The event was held on the anniversary of Itai’s abduction. The man disappeared on the 9th March after being taken by suspected intelligence agents.
Mujuru who was unavailable for comment at the time of writing, had a spokesperson of hers later responding saying, “it’s the first time I am hearing about such a protest march. In future I am sure with due notice being received and after careful consideration of all factors, its an initiative which can be considered.”
Mujuru was mocked on social media with one Facebooker writing, “Where was Cde Yokozuna Mujuru and Cde Dhiziri if they are serious with their Poop First movement about looking out for fellow Zimbabweans?”

It never ceases to bother me why Zimbabweans are so easily swayed from their paths of righteousness. For any level headed person to think that a People First party whose constituents are 95% those that were expelled from Zanu PF, will look and listen to the voices of the ordinary Zimbabweans will be mockery in place of reality.
The Guys are old and have nothing new to offer to the electorate, they are the same evils who have masterminded the suffering of the people of our country, it is the Mutasa’s among them who have been diverting fertilizer and seed earmarked for distribution to rural communities to their own farms at the expense of poor rural people, and the same people responsible for the disappearance of thousands of people who had a differing political association and affiliation.
Go past Dydmus Mutasa’s farm in Headlands this year and take notice of the amount of soya-grass he cultivated this season. That will explain the fact that this guy, for all these years he has been part of the gravy train, he had the immunity to escape punishment for diverting people’s fertilizer and seed. He didn’t dare this season.
Let us leave these old people and let them retire to their farms, get time to play with grandsons and daughters.
Lastly let us remember that people in government are civil servants, and as such, should be respected by being encouraged to leave work at their retirement ages, start businesses and employ people, or go straight into farming.
