Ndaba Nhuku | President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s hit squad have disowned their own member, Gathry Chiredzero, as a sacrificial lamb.

Don’t believe the security guys. Don’t trust the heavily infiltrated media. Mnangagwa has members in all media houses and they are all paid to lie and not investigate cases such as this one.

The accused, Gathry Chiredzero, is a genuine Zimbabwe security guy who rose through the ranks to be one of the most trusted and closest to Mnangagwa. We all must be asking ourselves serious questions and not just letting our fellow brothers die in prison because of corruption. This guy is being sacrificed by his team members because they didn’t fulfill the task they were given. Question is what was the task?

When the coup was staged, bust teams were sent out to arrest G40 members. Gathry Chiredzero was amongst one of such teams sent to arrest one of the G40, possibly Chombo. The team was bribed with an irresistible $100 000 which they accepted and stopped arresting the guy. Gathry Chiredzero only got $15 000 out of the bribe money and the rest was taken by other members of the team.

However, the unfortunate G40 guy was arrested by a subsequent team that was sent to arrest him. The G40 guy spilt the beans explaining how and why he was not arrested by the first team, he bribed them with $100 000 which they accepted. This is when hell visited Gathry Chiredzero who was betrayed by his own team. The team turned against him and fabricated the story to hide the truth from Mnangagwa and others. This they could only succeed by saying Gathry Chiredzero who was named by the G40 as fake, arrest him for fake charges and murder him in prison. That way, the story ends.

The question remains, why is the media not investigating the guy’s history? Why has noone taken it upon himself to ask the real questions? For instance how did he get close to the president? Since when was he last seen with all VIP security guys? Don’t security guys know each other such that Ndaba Nhuku can spend the whole day working with them without them knowing that this is a stranger who is not one of them? If that is the case then this guy would have long killed Mnangagwa because our security guys are idiots, naive and stupid as our media guys are.

Please release this guy or arrest the entire team for accepting a bribe and not doing their job. The team members know themselves and must come out clean. This incident shows how vulnerable Mnangagwa is because of corrupt security guys around him. His security guys can simply be bribed by anyone. If a security crack team could not execute a task for a mere $100000, how much more can they take for just one million dollars? Mnangagwa must personally take an interest in this case of he wants to be secure and safe.
