By Farai D Hove| ANALYSIS| The state media has reported on the late MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s love life. The report reveals that Tsvangirai literally paid lobola for another woman while still legally married to his now widow, Elizabeth.

Did Tsvangirai literally cheat on his wife, and how was he able to keep such a matter a secret all the way into the grave?

Details on this as ZimEye reveals, can be seen in a thorough perusal of the events of the last 6 years line upon line.

Just after the 2013 elections, ZimEye.com exposed the fall out betwen Tsvangirai and his wife, Liz. ZimEye travelled to a house Elizabeth moved into as she ran away from her husband. Ever since that day, the relationship between Tsvangirai and Elizabeth has been cosmetic.

A year later in July 2014, Tsvangirai was once again grilled by ZimEye on his marriage crisis. His gave a candid answer and said, “what do you want me to say, that I am not happily married?

“What measurement is there?, all I can say is those are the personal issues that the press want to pry, that have nothing to do with the crisis in Zimbabwe, and that will not help Zimbabweans to have a meal on the table on the day. The question of my relationship with my wife is my personal view, and if you make your judgement that they are not happily married, or that’s your opinion, it has nothing to do with me,” he replied ZimEye. His comments were accompanied by a loud chuckle.

The following year, Tsvangirai was snapped on camera with a group of bikini clad young women.

In January this year, Tsvangirai was filmed at his house when President Emmerson Mnangagwa visited him and many Zimbabweans questioned Elizabeth Tsvangirai’s dressing. They noted how she was strikingly and unusually suited and booted at her own house. “You do not wear such a shoe at your own house,” commented one Itai Ncube.

There was more drama when Elizabeth was humiliated by her mother in law at the Harare International Airport (RGM) when Tsvangirai’s body was flown back to Harare from South Africa.

“I don’t want to see Elizabeth and Chamisa near me (in my face) and I don’t want to hear Chamisa’s speech,” she screamed in front of a ZBC camera.

Tsvangirai’s relatives later revealed that there was of a truth a marriage fall out and they felt Elizabeth must not be allowed to enjoy the matrimonial property since she rarely lived at the couple’s house.

In conclusion, it is highly unlikely that Elizabeth did not know of Tsvangirai’s relationships with other women. It is also highly unlikely that she would be bothered about Tsvangirai having another woman.
