Details have now emerged how the loud-mouthed controversial Presidential advisor Chris Mutsvangwa made his way through ZANU PF primaries and was anbounced winner Saturday night.

It has turned out that his opponent was pushed into bowing out of the race.

Langton Mutendereki, who had won the first time, confirmed that he had withdrawn from the race.

He said he decided to withdrawal for the sake of progress claiming, “yes, I have withdrawn my candidature from the primary election re-run. We can’t continue fighting for primary elections yet we have a general election that is coming. We need time to prepare for the general election so I decided to withdraw for the sake of progress in the party. I am now backing comrade Mutsvangwa as the party’s candidate and remember the general elections are just two months away from now.”
