Police Commissioner General Godwin Matanga has read the riot act- on the need to stamp out corruption within the ZRP.

Matanga who was in the ancient city of Masvingo yesterday told police officers there would no sacred cows as the ZRP was determined to get rid of corrupt elements within its ranks.

“The Police Anti-corruption Programme is already in place and it falls under the Criminal Investigation Department.

Please do not be caught on the wrong side of the law because we are really determined to expose corrupt elements,” said Matanga.

“We will work closely with Home Affairs Minister Honourable Obert Mpofu, who has already indicated his willingness to arrest the corruption scourge,”added Matanga.
