MDC Alliance Presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa has said his government will embark on a massive reorientation programme in the country’ s security sector.

Addressing party members and delegates at the launch of the MDC Alliance Manifesto under the name SMART in the capital Harare today, Chamisa said reorientation of the security sector would enhance and improve the nation’ s integrity.

“We will embark on a massive reorientation programme in the country’s security sector after winning the elections.

What is needed is a paradigm shift within our security sector. There will be no shifting of personnel as such because what is needed is an ideological shift,” said Chamisa.

“The MDC Government will not interfere with the operations of our esteemed security forces,” added Chamisa.
