Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC)’ s debt has ballooned by 50 percent to $1,5 billion over the past six months as consumers continue to default on paying their rates, a business publication has revealed.

The enormous debt has all but crippled the company’ s operations, according to the publication.
