Own Correspondent|Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has released images to prove how he spent the US$5 million that was advanced to him by the Zimbabwe Power Company for the construction of the Gwanda Solar Power Project.

His responses come after new Energy and Power Development Minister Fortune Chasi ordered him to pay back the money advanced to him for the job after it emerged that nothing had been done on site.

Chivayo claims he has done all the requisite work equivalent to the US$5 million which was advanced to him in irregular circumstances under the instruction of former Energy Minister Samuel Undenge.
