Farai Dziva|The 2020 National Budget presentation is a reflection of the Illegitimate government’s carefree attitude towards the plight of suffering Zimbabweans, MDC official Antony Taruvinga has said.

Below is Taruvinga’s argument :

Budget preparation and presentation are all useless fiscus draining exercises in this country.

Nothing in that budget is adhered to when time for spending arrives.

Finance Ministry was allocated $294million in the 2018 budget but went on to illegally spend a staggering 3.494 billion.

Instead of spending $294 million, they spent $3.2 billion. This year until August, the Ministry spent $4.8 billion.

What was the money used for? Some were paid to people the Ministry doesn’t know. Payments were made to unknown people and unknown unregistered non existing Companies.

That’s the problem associated with governments installed through coups and election rigging.

They fear no people because their power is not from the people.
