Own Correspondent|An Iranian man allegedly armed with a machete, knives and an axe was stopped and held by cops on a bridge, just miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, local authorities say according to a report by THE SUN.

Police who arrested the man found $22,000, a machete and a pick axe in his possession, as well as knives, reports Palm Beach Daily News.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh was identified as an Iranian national by his passport while his car was parked at Palm Beach International Airport.

He was taken into custody on Flagler Memorial Bridge on Friday, which is a mere four miles from Trump’s exclusive beach front club.

The man appeared to be homeless, according to the Daily News, who reported he also had camping gear with him.

Zoleh was reportedly arrested by three Palm Beach Police officers and two plainclothes officers, states the Palm Beach Post.

There were also reports of police activity at Palm Beach International Airport, where sources say a bomb unit was called in to check the Iranian man’s car at the airport’s short term parking lot.

An ‘all clear’ was given at the airport on Friday afternoon and operations have returned to normal.

You will recall that just last week, an Iranian TV announced that $80 million bounty has been placedon Donald Trump’s head. Either this is a ripple effect from such announcement time and investigation will tell.
