Zimbabwe Protection Forum, an organization which represents the voice of voiceless, would like to advise the govt and the entire nation that Chitungwiza people are living in darkness for the past 61 hours.

This is contrary to the what the Minister’s policy of an 18hr or 24 hr loading shedding. Our organization will be approaching the courts and if possible will loby the residents to demonstrate against this move.

Many residents are loosing their electrical gadgets because Zesa is not advising the residents time tables when they are switching off their electricity and this will lead to the destruction of Fridges, TV sets and most of residents’ perishable products are going bad.

As an organization which represents residents, we are deeply concerned with this carelessness by Zesa and we demand the Minister of the relevant department to look into seriously. These incidents are happening every week.
