Langton Mutendereki who defeated Chris Mutsvangwa in the Zanu PF Norton Constituency primary election yesterday claimed he was not forced to withdraw from the polls.

Mutendereki shocked Mutsvangwa in the primary election and the latter refused to concede defeat.

Speaking to ZBC in an interview yesterday Mutendereki claimed he pulled out of the primary election in good faith.

“Who told you that I was forced to withdraw from the race?

I did it in good faith, contrary to claims that I was intimidated.

I will campaign for CDE Mutsvangwa because he is our candidate,” said Muterendereki.
