Sensing the possibility of a humiliating defeat in today’s election, Zanu PF activists have accused Zimbabwe Electoral Commission(ZEC) officials of influencing residents of Rujeko Suburb, ward 7, Masvingo Urban Constituency to vote for the opposition.

Zanu PF is in panic mode following former President Robert Mugabe’ s news conference yesterday.

At Rujeko Admin Polling Station, Zanu PF officials today confronted ZEC officials and accused them of influencing the electorate to vote against the ruling party.

“We are carrying out our duties according to specifications in our code of conduct. Therefore we will not be swayed by politicians to depart from our ethics,” said a ZEC official.
