By Paul Nyathi|President elect Emmerson Mnangagwa will apparently be sworn in on Sunday.

An invitation to the diplomatic community in the country from the President’s office was provided to ZimEye.com by sources confirming that the inauguration will definitely be taking place on Sunday.

The inauguration preparations take place at a time when the opposition MDC Alliance is threatening to lodge a court appeal against the results of the presidential election which was held on Monday last week.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission declared Mnangagwa a winner with 50.8% of the votes against close rival Nelson Chamisa who got 44.3% of the votes.
