By Own Correspondent| Legislation to underpin the operations of the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA) is now before parliament, a senior government official has revealed.
Addressing the media at a post cabinet briefing Tuesday afternoon, Information minister Monica Mutsvangwa said an interim Inter ministerial committee to provide One Stop Shop Investment Services is now fully operational.
Said Mutsvangwa:
“A full fledged ZIDA which will complete the processing of investment approvals within a day is set to be fully operational by the end of the second quarter of 2019.
This is bound to significantly improve the investment climate in the country and thereby stimulate economic development in line with the goals of vision 2030.”
