By Own Correspondent- Former Amazulu and Warriors player, David Mkandawire has died.

The footballer reportedly collapsed and died early this week.

News of Mkandawire’s passing on was announced by Tendai Ndoro, known for having come to Mkandawire’s assistance when the later was struggling economically.

Said Ndoro on Instagram:

“David, u are in safe hands now”

In his soccer days, Mkandawire played for Amazulu, the Zimbabwe national team, the University of Pretoria in South Africa and also in India.-
