The controversial activist and MDC outcast, Linda Masarira has gotten her own son jailed for theft of her own cell phone.

Masarira got her son, Kuzivakwashe Muhlanga imprisoned for six months.

Kuzivakwashe was on Wednesday found guilty of theft by Harare Magistrate Joseph Munhondo for stealing his own mother’s cellphone which is valued at $650.

It is the state’s case that he stole the mother’s phone while it was under a pillow in the bedroom after she had gone for a 30-minute driving road test on July 3 this year.

When the mother returned home, she could not find the phone and she proceeded to make a report at Marlborough police station. Police details searched Muhlanga’s room and found the stolen device.
